Main duties of the job:
- To work in the plaster room for the removal and application of plaster cast, splints and braces, for emergency and elective patients.
- Provide advice to patients and nursing staff regarding the care of plaster casts and splints.
- Responsible for recording patient data and activity on the electronic patient record.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: British Casting Certificate, NVQ 2, Maths and English.
- Experience: Significant experience in the plaster room, competent and experienced in plaster casting.
