E-Rostering and Attendance (ERA) Support Administrator
The succesful candidate will work as part of the e-rostering admin team and alongside the Flexible resourcing team.
The role will be Monday to Friday and working office hours.
You will work to support wards, departments, managers and system users navigate the system to produce safe and efficient rosters in line with policy and proceedure. On site working will support queries from employees attending the office seeking support, guidance and advice.
Main duties of the job
Key tasks will be supporting users of the ERA system by providing advice and guidance via telephone, teams, e-mail and face-to-face. You will respond to e-mails and telephone calls on a daily basis, resolving issues and queries, working alongside the System Administrators. You will develop knowledge and skills to be able to configure system configuration to best suit the individual and/or varying needs of the service.
As part of the ongoing development of the ERA system, you will be able to contribute to the delivery of new system functionality across the Trust and develop yourself as a system expert. You require strong IT skills, knowledge of windows-based software and confidence in learning and using IT systems.
We are looking for a highly motivated person with a keen eye for attention to detail. You will be a confident communicator and have excellent interpersonal/administrative skills and knowledge. It is essential that you enjoy working within a team and have a friendly and professional manner. Job responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support to the ERA System Administrators resolving system queries, providing advice and guidance, resolving software and system operational problems.
Undertake and maintain system configuration to ensure the availability of up-to-date and timely data items within system.
Provide daily Trust reports to support Business Intelligence dashboards for Health & Wellbeing and daily situation report for live staffing (sitrep).
Create bespoke reports in response to adhoc requests by Managers
Preparation of documentation associated with system processes (standard operating procedures / end user training guides)
Ensure all new Managers have received adequate training and have appropriate system access levels to enable them to fulfil their role.
Support System Administrators with regression/new functionality testing when upgrading software
Liaise with People & OD/People Data & Information Team to obtain regular details of system users leaving employment or changing roles to ensure that system access is deleted or amended appropriately.
Act as first line support for all system user, providing advice and guidance in order to resolve software problems where possible.
Engage and support the ERA Team during any future new system procurement projects.
Person Specification
- oNVQ in Administration
- oExtensive experience of using different software applications, Microsoft Office packages (word/excel/databases) as well as other IT systems to be an advanced level
- oWorking knowledge of an electronic Time & Attendance system
- oKnowledge of project management processes
