Eslington is a thriving primary school situated on two separate school sites in the Bensham/Teams area of Gateshead. Eslington is a specialist school that meets the needs of primarily Gateshead pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who have a primary need of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). We also offer up to 7 Assessment, Reintegration and Outreach (ARO) places for children experiencing some challenge within their mainstream setting on a temporary basis. We currently cater for up to 84 pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 across the two school sites. Increasing numbers have resulted in the need for this additional post. These sites are situated approximately 20-minute walk between each other.
Our vision and values reflect nurturing principles, with high expectations so that every child can achieve and experience success. The governors are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. In return we can offer you:
- A positive and caring ethos with 'learning for all' being central.
- A committed and supportive governing body and staff team to work with pupils who are very eager to succeed.
