The Headteacher and governors wish to appoint one suitably qualified and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and forward looking school. The post carries an additional SSA allowance as it is to work within our team of staff in our ARMS provision.

Working pattern: Monday – Friday, mornings 20 hours per week Term Time Only

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent and inclusive classroom practice in line with our child centred ethos which promotes good progress and improves all children’s wellbeing and achievement.
  • Support learning across the primary age range and support children with a diagnosis of autism and significant speech, language and communication barriers.
  • Show understanding of the national curriculum and Early Years framework.
  • Contribute positively within a school setting and have high expectations of all pupils and staff.
  • Work closely with a range of skilled professionals and with children’s families to achieve the best outcomes for them.
  • Be a committed team member and committed to professional development.
