Position Overview
SEND Class teacher – Permanent starting September 2026. The Governors of Dryden and Hill Top Learning Federation seek to appoint a vibrant, enthusiastic and successful teacher to join our well established, experienced, supportive and dedicated staff team. You will have responsibility for a class, delivering a highly adapted National Curriculum. As with all posts in school, you must have the flexibility to work anywhere in the school. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking Federation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly adapted National Curriculum and a full range of subjects to pupils with learning difficulties.
- Provide excellent classroom practice with a calm, creative and flexible approach.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to support pupil progress.
- Demonstrate good organisational skills and meet deadlines.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of young people with complex autism and associated learning and communication difficulties.

- Experience of and genuine interest in working with young people who have a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Ability to lead work with other staff.
