Furrowfield School is an 11-16 secondary school providing education for students in Years 7 to Year 11. Students who attend Furrowfield School have Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) issues with other complex needs. Students follow the majority of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and a broad curriculum in Key Stage 4 when a combination of GCSEs, BTEC, Functional Skills and AQA Unit Awards are studied. In addition, vocational opportunities in construction, hair, beauty and barbering and mechanics can be studied. We also have close links to support our informal curriculum including Birkheads Wild Forest School, Bill Quay Farm and Evolve Sports Academy. We have also been developing our therapeutic offer in our Therapeutic Assessment and Support Centre (TASC). We are proud of every single student within our educational community. Responsibilities
Due to our expansion we are seeking to appoint talented, enthusiastic and committed staff in the field of nurture provision and/or in one or more of the following subjects: Maths, Art, Music, English, PE and ICT to further support our students at Furrowfield School.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of commitment to making a difference to the lives of students who can present as challenging on a daily basis, but who deserve the highest quality educational experience regardless of behavioural challenge.
