Required for September 2026, subject to all clearances being in place.

We are seeking to appoint 2 permanent Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants.

Proposed working hours: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm each day during school term time.

Duties include:

  • Supervising the entry of pupils into the dining room
  • Encouraging pupils to eat meals and try new dishes
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and manners
  • Wiping up spillages and clearing breakages during service time in the dining area
  • Supervising and encouraging good quality play in the playground, MUGA or classrooms, according to prevailing weather conditions
  • Dealing with minor accidents, spillages, etc., and reporting serious incidents to the First Aider or Class Teacher
  • Other duties which may be required from time to time by the Head Teacher

If successful, you will need to apply for an enhanced Disclosure check. This post may require a declaration under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009, including Disqualification by Association.

Salary amounts quoted are from 1st September to 31st August; if you commence employment part way through the academic year they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.
