  • Help ensure the stop smoking service is targeted to priority population groups and liaise with partners to promote and encourage appropriate referrals.
  • Set up, coordinate and deliver stop smoking interventions within secondary care and community settings as required.
  • Deliver evidence-based behaviour change interventions through face-to-face and telephone consultations, tailoring conversations to individual needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience of working within stop smoking services or a related behaviour change role with a proven ability to deliver person-centred interventions to individuals and groups.

  • Hold a relevant professional qualification (minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) or significant experience working within smoking cessation or behaviour change.
  • National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) Level 2 training is desirable.
  • Accurate record keeping using designated clinical and team systems; ability to work flexibly across settings.
