Due to a vast increase in pupil numbers, Ryton Infant & Junior School Federation is looking for a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work full time. The post will be a permanent position.

The Governors of Ryton Federation are seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our hard-working team.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • have experience of working in the school environment and a willingness to work across school as needed
  • have the ability to collect robust evidence about children's learning
  • can create positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • can provide support for children, teachers and the school
  • have high expectations of all pupils with a commitment to raising standards
  • have experience of working with and supervising children across school
  • have a willingness to undertake further training (e.g. First Aid)
  • have the commitment to contribute to the extended life of the school
