Required for 2 nd November 2026 or as soon as possible after this date, subject to all clearances being in place.
The children, staff and governors of Lingey House Primary School are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and reflective teacher (M1–M6) to join our Year 2 team for maternity cover.

Applicants should have experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 and be able to build positive relationships, create engaging learning experiences and support children to flourish both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate strong classroom practice and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Have experience of teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
- Have high expectations for all pupils.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Be committed to inclusion, nurture and relational practice.

- Use assessment effectively to support learning and progress.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
