We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Rail Project Support Officer to join our dynamic team. As a vital member you will provide essential support in the planning and coordination of rail projects. As a Project Support Officer, you will liaise closely with teachers to track and monitor progress, as well as provide one-to-one support to learners. You will be required to support the Head of Department to make proactive actions to improve learner punctuality, attendance, retention, achievement and future employment.

In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for the enrolment process and deliver Information, advice and guidance sessions and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, promote and advertise scheduled courses and commit to administrative tasks relating to Rail Engineering.

We would love it if you had Rail Engineering background, a great work ethic and a passion for supporting others. We are looking for a dynamic and pro‑active individual who can motivate our learners and give them the employment edge by supporting them with their career ambitions. As such, you will be required to support teachers and Head of Department /

We’d like you to :

  • Possess excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
  • Ability to prepare documents using IT packages e.g. word processing, spreadsheets
  • Be able to plan effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in functional skills (literacy and numeracy)
  • Level 2 qualification in IT or Business Administration
