We are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Engineering Teacher (Electrical Bias) to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across engineering programmes, with a primary focus on electrical principles and applications. You will inspire and support learners to achieve their full potential, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on, industry-relevant skills.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong background in electrical engineering, including experience with installation, maintenance, fault-finding and testing of electrical systems.
- A solid mechanical engineering understanding, such as working with mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proven industry experience in an engineering environment, for example within advanced manufacturing, production, maintenance engineering, building services, or industrial settings.
- Experience working with key equipment and systems such as motors, control panels, PLCs, wiring systems, and health & safety procedures.
- An understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g. electrical safety, compliance, risk assessments).
- The ability to translate real-world engineering practices into engaging learning experiences.
