We are looking for a passionate, self‑motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our growing Digital Technologies team. You’ll be instrumental in closing the skills gap within the North East by teaching up and coming tech talent. This could include digital apprentices, college level students and those within local businesses through our short intensive courses. It is a bonus if you are a qualified teacher; however, if you are seeking to change careers we can help train you if you have a digital industry background or have graduated from University.

As a digital professional, we’d like you to have experience, up to level 5, of one or more of the following topics:

  • Data Analytics / AI (Machine Learning/Python)
  • Programming (Java/ Python/ C#/ C++)
  • Software Testing (Manual and Automated)
  • Networking, Cybersecurity and Cloud (AWS/Azure)

We’d also like you to be as passionate as we are about delivering top quality training and helping people to build their confidence and skills.

Job Details

Location: Baltic Campus
Contract: Part time, permanent.
Salary: 22.2 hours per week — £21,471 per annum (leading up to £24,904 per annum); 37 hours per week — £35,785 per annum (leading up to £41,507 per annum).

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Degree or equivalent in a related field (not mandatory).
Industry experience: Minimum 3 years in a digital technology role, or the equivalent mentioned in the topics above.
Teaching: If you have a teaching qualification, that is a bonus; otherwise, we’re prepared to provide training and support.
