Our Talent Acquisition team is responsible for partnering with leaders and managers to find the best global talent available to help the organization meet its strategies and missions. We develop and execute effective and consistent talent sourcing and selection strategies to hire candidates for various positions ranging from leadership to entry level around the globe.

Your Role

We seek an experienced Executive Recruiter to lead and implement a comprehensive talent strategy for our global regional offices. As a strategic talent advisor to regional leadership teams, you will be a partner and collaborate with other HR colleagues to align recruitment efforts with organizational priorities. You will advocate and present our compelling value proposition to engage, attract, and hire a wide range of talented individuals and leaders from around the world to contribute to the foundation’s mission. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing sourcing and research strategies to build and cultivate a solid pipeline of senior-level, mission-aligned leadership talent and those with highly specialized technical skills. You will also be responsible for project management of identified strategic recruiting initiatives in the regions. Success in this role requires a collaborative, high-integrity, and performance-oriented approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor to regional leaders and HR partners by understanding organizational priorities and developing talent acquisition strategies to meet talent priorities.
  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain positive and strategic working relationships with regional teams, hiring managers, and other key collaborators to support consistent, high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Design and implement inclusive sourcing strategies to broaden the leadership talent pipeline.
  • Partner with other Executive Recruiters and engage key internal partners in strategy discussions, hiring meetings, headcount planning sessions, etc. To develop a deep understanding of each client’s position requirements to map role criteria, define position descriptions, and document role specifications.
  • Provide talent insights, talent landscape data, and analysis, as well as market intelligence, to guide, advise, and inform hiring decisions and organizational development.
  • Lead full-cycle executive recruitment, including talent sourcing and identification, candidate engagement, development and assessment, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiations at scale.
  • Collaborate with HR partners to integrate hiring efforts with broader talent planning and succession strategies.
  • Leverage data and analytics to develop and execute against a rolling 12+ month hiring plan for regional senior-level and leadership roles.
  • Effectively use recruiting tools like LinkedIn, Workday, Talent Neuron, Beamery, etc., to map talent markets, identify talent, and build candidate pools.
  • Share recruiting processes and best practices with the broader talent acquisition team. • In partnership with the TA Regional Senior Manager, actively participate in and contribute to regional and cross-functional projects, representing the voice of the regions in talent planning forums and special projects as needed.
  • Your Experience

  • Advanced experience in talent acquisition or related experience, including in-house or search firm leading executive level searches.
  • Deep expertise in sourcing and engaging global talent, particularly across Asia, Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and similar regions.
  • Proven ability to identify, define, and develop innovative programs and tools that address complex hiring needs.
  • Proficient in using data and analytics to develop short and long-term hiring plans.
  • Strong project management skills with experience supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives, including large-scale talent acquisition projects.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Intellectual curiosity, resilience, and resourcefulness with a high degree of personal discipline.
  • Exercises sound judgment while navigating complexity, handling sensitive information, and managing shifting priorities.
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with strong critical thinking skills and a track record of working effectively across complex, highly matrixed environments.
  • Able to operate independently while bringing a creative lens to a wide-ranging set of talent acquisition and business opportunities.
  • Ability to travel up to 20-25% of the time, including internationally.
