Preparation Centre Supervisor Vacancy in Harlow

This is a full‑time permanent role, where you will be working 45 hours a week Mon‑Fri. Reporting to the Preparation Centre Manager, the Preparation Centre Supervisor supports the day‑to‑day running of the Preparation Centre, coordinates the workshop and office team and ensures that all vehicles are presented to the highest possible standard before reaching the customer. This position plays a key part in maintaining quality, safety and customer satisfaction by thoroughly inspecting, preparing and finishing vehicles in line with company and manufacturer standards.

Working closely with sales and service teams, the Preparation Centre Supervisor helps ensure vehicles are ready on time and meet all required specifications. This role requires a strong eye for detail, good technical knowledge and a commitment to delivering consistent, high‑quality results.

A fast‑paced and dynamic environment with a continued focus on reducing the time to market of used vehicles.

Key Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Vehicle Preparation
    • Help distribute and control work to technicians to maximise quality and overall efficiency.
    • Drive vehicle preparation processes and efficiencies to achieve optimal speed to market.
    • Assess areas of cosmetic vehicle preparation.
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal sales management.
    • Support the management of productive workshop activities.
    • Secure arrangements with external providers to support vehicle preparation.
  • Parts
    • Source, price and order parts (incl. tyres) in line with preparation requirements.
    • Ensure the parts storage area is kept clean, tidy and safe to work in.
  • Systems and Processes
    • Effectively navigate the Keyloop POS module, including parts, labour and invoicing responsibilities.
    • Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal, warranty and ethical guidelines.
    • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment for the team.
    • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly by yourself and the team.

    • Encourage a positive and competitive team mindset.
    • Maintain a smart appearance at all times and conduct business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Observe all health and safety and COSHH regulations at all times.
    • Observe all company‑agreed policies in line with the code of practice.
  • Qualifications and Traits
    • Have a good level of Keyloop POS competence.
    • A background in parts would be advantageous.
    • Maintain a high level of self‑motivation.
    • Comfortable in a pressurised logistical environment.
    • Be able to analyse situations & provide spontaneous direction.
    • Training will be provided.
    • Driving licence is essential.
