Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • Typically requires a college or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, or at least 2‑4 years experience in a similar engineering position, that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
  • Demonstrated effective supervision, knowledge of steam plant, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment, including equipment design, maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to demonstrate supplier negotiations and budgetary control experience and development and monitoring of specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish work.
