Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Day Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and supporting daily operations in the Finishing area, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to required standards.
- Lead and coordinate Finishing area operations on the day shift.
- Ensure output, quality, and housekeeping standards are consistently met.
- Liaise with Team Leaders and departments to meet planning and customer deadlines.
- Ensure operator training, maintain training records, and support team flexibility.
- Enforce Health & Safety and COSHH compliance; investigate incidents and implement follow-ups.
- Support commissioning of new equipment and identify improvement opportunities.
- Manage absence, lateness, and discipline in line with procedures.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and MDC on projects and improvements.
- Assist with training, appraisals, and disciplinary processes across areas.
