The company specializes in the manufacture of rubber-based industrial products. As part of Gates’ global industrial network, the Dumfries site contributes to a company employing over 400 people in the UK.
The Sales Correspondent provides the office-based communication link between Customer & Company handling orders, price and delivery enquiries, promptly and efficiently. Constant liaison with various internal functions and other Gates facilities ensures specific customer requirements are met.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Customer Service / Warehouse Tasks – Manage customer deliveries and communications.
- Shop orders for single boxing – Creating production orders, issuing plans to production.
- Stock split; support creating warehouse tasks for shipping.
- Print labels for shipments; manage replenishment and inventory of GM and Renault labelling.
- Manage key customers, customer packaging and KLTs; ordering, inventory management and replenishment.
- Inward goods booking in; end pieces replenishment and inventory.
- Customer complaints.
- Manage customer portal.
- Requires skilled in a range of processes, procedures and systems to carry out assigned tasks or has developed deep skills in a single area.
- Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
