We are delighted to be working closely with a University to recruit an Interim University Secretary for a period of 6 months. The University Secretary plays a pivotal role in building relationships and influencing high-quality strategic decision-making at the University Court and Senior Management Team. This complex position is central to managing the critical relationship between the Senior Governor (Chair) and the Vice Chancellor, requiring visible independence, sound judgment, and a commitment to acting in the institution's best interests.
As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the University Secretary will provide leadership in governance, compliance, risk management, and strategic planning. The successful candidate will be instrumental in guiding decision-making across the full range of University activities.
