Role Overview
With strong foundations in place, we are now focused on deepening integration, strengthening delivery and realising the full benefits of the merger. As part of this next phase, we are seeking a Director of Property & Estates to join our senior leadership team and play a critical role in shaping how we deliver high‑quality, efficient and customer‑focused property and estate services.
Reporting to the Group Executive Director of Operations, this is a key strategic leadership role with corporate responsibility for the delivery of property maintenance and estates services across a portfolio of c.15,000 homes. You will lead large, operationally diverse teams and oversee a mixed economy of in‑house delivery and contracted services, ensuring consistent performance, value for money and high standards for residents.
Responsibilities & Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and values‑driven leader who can operate confidently in a complex, changing environment and quickly take ownership of a large‑scale operational service. You will bring strong experience of delivering property services at scale, within social housing or another highly regulated, customer‑focused environment, alongside a clear understanding of operational risk, health and safety, and performance management. A collaborative leadership style, ensuring that property services are fully aligned with asset investment, customer priorities and community outcomes, will be key.
