We are now delivering our 2024-27 Corporate Plan and are seeking a NonâExecutive Director to join our ambitious Board as Chair of the Audit & Assurance Committee. We are looking for an experienced strategic leader who is familiar with audit and assurance programmes and who can contribute to our forwardâlooking committee. You'll bring the skills to challenge financial judgments, ask the right questions, and provide external insight into wideâranging audit and assurance matters.
While a formal financial qualification is not essential, you will bring strong financial literacy and a clear understanding of a Board's governance and legal responsibilities. Experience in social housing is not required, although you will have executive or nonâexecutive experience in a regulated sector and the strategic insight to support a ÂŁ100m turnover organisation with a ÂŁ650m asset base. The time commitment is around two days per month.
