We are supporting a local authority to appoint an experienced Interim Service Lead – Programme Manager to lead a key programme of work, including the delivery of a comprehensive service review, improvement activity, and the identification of operational and financial efficiencies across priority service areas.
The successful candidate will bring strong programme leadership experience within local government or the wider public sector, alongside demonstrable experience leading service reviews with a focus on efficiency, value for money, and sustainability.
You will have the ability to provide strategic oversight, manage complex and multi‐disciplinary workstreams, and engage effectively with senior stakeholders, elected members, and partners.
A strong track record of driving change, delivering efficiencies, and achieving measurable outcomes in challenging environments is essential.
The role will start in early May, be for up to 6 months, and will offer hybrid working.
