We are seeking an Independent NonâExecutive Director (INED) who will bring external expertise, sound judgement and strategic insight to our Board. This role offers the opportunity to influence the direction of a growing organisation that plays a vital role in keeping our communities clean, green and safe.
As an INED, you will provide independent scrutiny, support and assurance, helping review and challenge the development of Ubico's strategy and ensuring our obligations to shareholders, employees and wider stakeholders are met. You will monitor performance, champion continuous improvement, and help ensure the company operates safely, legally, efficiently and sustainably. You will also play an active role in Board evaluations, governance development and maintaining a strong valuesâdriven culture that promotes equality, diversity and inclusion.
We are looking for candidates with senior leadership or Boardâlevel experience, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to analyse complex issues and offer constructive challenge. We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, but particularly those with expertise in digital, cyber, data, environmental operations, compliance, health and safety, procurement, or local government services.
