Interim Head of Capital Delivery

Our client, a complex, inner London Borough is looking for an Interim Head of Capital delivery to add capacity to their leadership team during a period of change.

Essential Duties

Working as part of a large property and housing team the Head of Capital Delivery will lead a large capital delivery function which is currently delivering a number of key projects across the borough.

As an experienced interim you will add capacity to the leadership team and support a number of the major capital works programmes, some of which need additional support to bring them back under control and improve resident experience.

In addition to taking leadership of the capital programmes the interim will also support the management team and look to upskill the existing team in areas such as project planning and briefing.

Experienced Required

Someone with strong capital delivery experience, ideally within local government but open to other transferable sectors.

Strong contractor management skills with exceptional project management skills.

Good understanding of customer engagement and building and maintaining relationships with residents.

An experienced leader.

The role will be for a minimum of 6 months with hybrid working.
