We are currently partnering with a local authority to appoint an experienced and strategic Head of Arts, Parks and Events. This is a high‑profile leadership role for someone passionate about culture, public space and community engagement, with the opportunity to shape arts, parks, festivals and major events across a diverse and dynamic area.
The Opportunity
This is a 3-4 month assignment, reporting into the Director of Culture. The successful candidate will lead a multi‑disciplinary service covering arts, parks, events, tourism and key cultural venues. You will have overall responsibility for service strategy, delivery and improvement, alongside accountability for significant budgets, assets and senior managers. Key areas for this role will be across the arts and events portfolio.
