An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to take on the role of Interim Head of Admissions at a prestigious university in the South of England. This interim position offers the chance to lead, manage, and enhance a critical function within the university, ensuring a seamless and exceptional admissions experience for students.
The Role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to oversee the Admissions Team, and as Interim Head of Admissions, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of an outstanding admissions service, aligned with the university’s vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and co-ordinate the delivery of a high-quality admissions function that supports both students and staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise efficiency and enhance service delivery through continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on student and academic administration matters, including the university student record system.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, including UCAS, OfS, UKVI, and CMA.
- Drive change and transformation within admissions, aligning processes with institutional and sector best practices.
The Person:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Substantial in-depth knowledge and senior-level experience in UK and international Higher Education admissions.
- A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and frameworks, including UCAS, OfS, UKVI, and CMA.
- A strong track record of leading change and transformation in HE admissions or a similar context.
- Proven expertise in UK and international student recruitment as it relates to admissions.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive continuous improvement.
