GatenbySanderson is delighted to be working with a prestigious performing arts organisation to recruit its Interim Chief Executive Officer. The role will commence late March / early April, for a period of c. 6 months while the recruitment of the permanent CEO takes place.
Role Objectives
- To provide stability of leadership in a period of transition between the outgoing CEO and incoming CEO.
- Ensure ongoing momentum on key projects within the 5-year business plan.
- Ensure organisational readiness for the incoming permanent CEO.
The Person
We are looking for an accomplished leader with extensive experience at a senior level within a performing arts organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the artistic, operational, and educational aspects involved in managing such an institution. In addition, you should have substantial expertise in funding and development strategies for UK arts organisations, including experience with Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) application process.
