Job Description
Are you ready to lead transformative change in adult social care? We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to join our client's Adults Commissioning team on an interim basis, with a remit that may span strategic, operational, or commercial commissioning.
In this role, you’ll help shape and deliver high-quality, person-centred services that promote independence and well-being. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to embed evidence-based commissioning, drive innovation, and ensure value for money across a diverse portfolio supporting over 7,000 people.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Leading commissioning strategies, market development, and transformation
- Overseeing quality assurance, contract and performance management
- Managing brokerage services, cost negotiations, and hospital flow
- Driving co-production with partners and ensuring CQC readiness
- Supporting integrated health and social care pathways
- Deputising for the Head of Service and contributing to strategic leadership
