We are an integrated Trust of over 6,500 dedicated colleagues providing healthcare services for patients across Calderdale and Kirklees in both hospital and community settings. We are rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, recognised as a top performing Trust for Elective Recovery, Emergency and Cancer Care, and widely acknowledged as a national lead for our work on both the digital and health inequalities agendas.
As a member of the Executive Team and Board, our Executive Director of Workforce and Organisational Development will play a significant role in our ambitious reconfiguration plans, ensuring our services are designed to enhance patient experience, as well as provide a positive environment for colleagues. You will work nationally, regionally, and locally to further advance our work on health inequalities and will be a determined and focused champion for the quality of care we provide across all our services. You will join a board that is fully committed to improving health outcomes in our communities, and who sees the health and wellbeing of its workforce as vital to the delivery of compassionate care to our patients.
NHS experience is not essential; we welcome senior leaders operating at or close to board level who bring transferable experience gained in comparable and complex environments with deep expertise in workforce strategy, organisational development, and colleague engagement, alongside a passion for improvement, partnership and reducing inequalities. Our people are at the centre of everything we do.
Through our commitment to One Culture of Care, we are focused on supporting each other to provide outstanding and compassionate care for our patients and their families.
