b Overview /b p In this role, you lead a range of construction projects within the Residential team in Nottingham, supervising junior staff and acting as the main contact for clients and design.team members. You will deliver QS and project management services autonomously, taking on responsibility across projects and stepping in for more senior colleagues when needed. As Employers Agent on Design and Build projects, you will uphold quality systems while managing multiple engagements and driving excellent client service. The opportunity includes ongoing professional development and a clear path to broader Gateley Built Environment career opportunities. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li annual bonus /li li Learn platform for skill development /li li flexible benefits package including extra annual leave /li li cycle to work /li li pension /li li health care /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead on a range of construction projects and supervise assistants/apprentices /li li Act as principal contact with the client and design team /li li Deliver QS/PM services independently across projects /li li Take on additional responsibilities and cover for Associate/Senior QS when unavailable /li li Act as Employers Agent on Design and Build projects /li li Follow the company Quality Management System in service delivery /li li Manage multiple projects with strong time management /li li Provide exceptional service to clients /li li Commit to at least 20 hours of CPD per year /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree level in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or related field /li li Ideally RICS Chartered, or commitment to achieve within 3 years /li li Min 3 years experience running own projects (QS and/or PM) /li li Proficiency in measurement, ideally CostX /li li Experience running projects independently /li li Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills /li li Excellent communication and interpersonal skills /li li Excellent organizational skills /li li Attention to detail and commitment to quality /li li Skilled negotiator /li li Driving licence and own car; willingness to travel UK sites /li /ul ul li Excellent communication and interpersonal skills /li li Strategic and analytical thinking /li li Attention to detail /li li Negotiation skills /li li CostX Measurement Software /li li Measurement and cost management /li /ul
