The role involves providing an excellent service as a Senior Clerk of Works, with a focus on the building industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods, and legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Clerk of Works services on various construction projects while managing and supervising other Clerks of Works.
- Act as a line manager, responsible for HR requirements and expectations.
- Train and assist others, including preparing and presenting in-house CPD events.
- Act as the principal point of contact with the project client regarding construction quality.
- Work independently to ensure successful delivery of Clerk of Works services on all projects.
- Manage allocated Key Client Accounts, ensuring satisfaction and nurturing new work opportunities.
- Adhere to Gateley RJA KPI's related to documentation and photographs post-site inspection.
- Follow Gateley RJA's Quality Management System in service delivery.
- Seek new project opportunities and promote services at networking and marketing events.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide excellent service to clients and colleagues.
- Work within a construction site environment, including climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
