The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

As an Associate or Senior Associate in our corporate team, you would be based at our London office working closely with partners, Beth Mather, Martin Montgomery, Oliver Harker, and Sam Meiklejohn and our established London team. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues across our national corporate unit and benefit from exposure to a wide variety of corporate transactions, including private equity, M&A, venture capital, capital markets minority investments and corporate structuring projects.

With a team of 70 corporate lawyers nationally, we advise clients on all types of corporate activity across the UK. Our Corporate team has been recognised nationally including:

The person

Our successful candidate will have 4+ years PQE gained at a national / international law firm and be a very personable, bright and confident individual with a broad range of corporate transactions. As an Associate or Senior Associate, you will be expected to take responsibility for mentoring junior members of the team. You must be able to demonstrate high-quality technical legal skills and the confidence to offer commercial advice in a well-reasoned and competent manner. You will have the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with existing clients alongside actively engaging in new business development opportunities and cross-selling services within Gateley. You must demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn and possess strong commercial acumen and good negotiation skills. We are looking for someone who is personable, enthusiastic and with a drive to succeed in a collaborative and collegiate environment.
