The role
We are seeking an experienced Associate / Senior Associate with a proven track record in M&A to join our Corporate Team in the Nottingham Office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our busy Nottingham Corporate Team working on a wide range of private equity and M&A transactions. The successful candidate will also gain exposure across our National Corporate Unit and be given the opportunity to assist the wider national team on a variety of M&A, capital markets, cross border transactions & investments, investment acquisitions, corporate structuring projects and private equity (to name a few) corporate transactions.

With a team of 70 corporate lawyers nationally, we advise clients on all types of corporate activity across the UK. In Nottingham, you’ll join a collaborative team within the Corporate Unit, providing a nurturing environment with genuine long-term progression prospects. For over thirty years, corporate deal-making has been at our core. The person
Our successful candidate will ideally have 4+ years PQE and be a very personable, bright and confident individual. Having spent the early years of their career learning their craft, the successful candidate will be capable of producing an excellent standard of work whilst supervising others in the team. Our ideal candidate will also enjoy marketing and business development activities and be eager to build a network of clients and advisers. They will be a robust individual and will have the strength of character to interact effectively with colleagues and clients at every level. They will thrive in a collaborative team environment and will work effectively with colleagues, clients and advisers. Excellent communication skills are essential.
