We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career an Apprentice Administrative Assistant. Based in our London office, this role would suit an individual who is looking to gain hands on experience in a professional services environment. You will be working alongside our Disputes Resolution and International Recoveries team, who are a close-knit team of highly regarded experts in their field.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the team. You will be heavily relied upon for efficiently coordinating all administrative tasks, acting as the glue to connect the dots across a wider national network. We are looking for an individual who has a natural flair for organisation, good attention to detail and is passionate about process improvements. Your role plays a significant part in ensuring we can continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients. It’s important to see how your daily tasks contribute to this wider goal. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate good time management to prioritise tasks. Additionally, you are an effective communicator, comfortable interacting with team members at various levels of seniority.

As an Apprentice, you will support Senior team members with:

Scheduling various meetings, both internal and external.

Efficiently filing and maintaining current documents on the internal case management system.

Drafting and typing supporting documents, such as letters.

Processing any relevant paperwork.

Assisting with expenses claims for the team.

Supporting the team with answering any queries from the wider business.

Any other general administrative tasks.
The team
This role supports our Complex and International Recovery Work team within Gateley. This team specialises in contentious insolvency matters often involving offshore entities and allegations of fraud or breach of duty. In short, when disputes arise, the team advise how to respond to that risk, recover from it in the best possible way and then to implement solutions to mitigate that risk from arising in the future.
Applicants will need to have at least five GCSE’s graded A* – C/9-4, or equivalent. No previous experience is necessary; we will provide full training and support for these roles.
We continue to develop and evolve our proposition and are looking for individuals with a ‘can do’ mentality to join the team and contribute to this wider goal.
