As a Solicitor in our Real Estate team, you will play an important role in delivering high quality work for clients across England and Wales while based in our Belfast office. Your day to day will include due diligence and asset management for a broad range of clients in sectors such as Banking, Retail and Hospitality. You will prepare reports on titles, leases, refinancing and acquisitions, and contribute to agreements for lease and wider property due diligence.
You will join our growing Real Estate team in Belfast, working closely with Alison Reid, Partner, Ruth Downie, Legal Director, and one of our London Partners, John Downs. Our Real Estate team is recognised for its strong technical and commercial capability across all areas of the market including commercial development, investment, mixed use schemes, landlord and tenant work, retail and leisure, finance, real estate litigation, planning and environmental.
The person we are looking for is a bright, open and forward-thinking Solicitor with 13 years post qualification experience in English property matters. You will bring solid experience in due diligence, asset management and transactional real estate work, together with confidence working on matters across England and Wales. Strong commercial awareness, a focus on quality and an ability to work directly and clearly with clients and colleagues are essential. You will be adaptable, collaborative and comfortable working within a national team.
