Gatehouse Property Management are looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled Centre Director to manage and oversee the day to day running, operations and strategic management of The Airedale Shopping Centre, Keighley. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to manage the on-site team and drive continual improvements, attract and retain footfall and create a desirable environment for tenants, customers and staff.
The Role
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver excellent levels of service.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including active participation at local community groups, BID meetings, and working closely with local council key personnel.
- Proactive engagement with landlord consultants and external parties
- Oversee Health and Safety compliance.
- Managing large property projects.
- Build strong and effective relationships with tenants and develop an understanding of their business needs to assist with their success.
- Lead promotion and awareness of scheme and actively arrange and promote seasonal events and report on success of same.
- Deliver excellent facilities services and customer relations.
- Oversee supervision and effective management of staff including soft services and maintenance team.

The Individual
- The candidate should ideally have held a senior position within a retail environment e.g. Shopping Centre Director/Manager, Town Centre Manager, Multi-site Manager, Department Store Manager, Property Manager.
- Strong awareness of economic and retail market and trends.
- Highly effective communicator.
- Proven experience managing large property projects.
- Experienced in contractor management.
- Experienced in budget management.
- Achievement of other professional qualifications / awards relevant to the role.
- IOSH or NEBOSH required.
