Business Analyst – Banking or Mortgages sector

Role Purpose
Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of a \’Business Analyst\’. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Head of Transformation and MI developing and executing the Bank’s Transformation strategy.
Identify, document, and facilitate the improvement of processes and activity across the Bank, including both systems and manual processes. Work with existing suppliers and onboard new suppliers where appropriate. Work with the business to implement the change, ensure new processes are understood, embedded, and tracked.
Role Duties
- Working closely with the Head of Transformation and MI and relevant third parties to ensure that system change is suitably identified, designed, and implemented within the Bank.
- The proactive identification of opportunities to improve the performance in the key strategic priorities of the Bank.
- Identify opportunities to improve business process and implement changes to enhance the customer experience and operational effectiveness.
- Effectively manage the development of business cases for major projects, taking into account the needs of stakeholders, technical strategy, costs, benefits and delivery requirements.
- Feed projects and gathered requirements into the Change Management function for build and test, ensuring the requirements are met upon receipt of the Change post-testing.
- Ensuring that Change is effectively released into the business, embedded, and tracked. Any defects to be highlighted, understood, and resolved where possible.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of a Banking application and customer on-boarding journey.
- Proven track record of identifying and subsequently making improvements to existing business processes.
- Ability to document requirements in the form of User Stories.
- Ability to analyse information and make informed judgements.
- Practical experience of release management and defect resolution.
- Strong stakeholder management including outsourced suppliers.
- Experience of Agile working.
