Regular roster of 5 on 3 off shift, availability for 5am to 2pm, 6am to 3pm, 7am to 4pm (Full Flexibility Required). Overtime rate of 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign teams and vehicles to flight activity and maintain contact with teams via phone to manage their movements and completion of flights servicing against the daily plan.
- Prioritise and adjust activities accordingly to ensure the on-time serving of all night and day flights.
- Plan and manage the rosters for the transport teams (day and night).
- Carry out a handover to the daytime team leader with relevant information including designated vehicles for preloading.
- Performance monitor team members daily and elevate concerns to Duty Manager.
- Ensure shift briefings, capture of key information and display/report relevant KPIs.
- Attend/conduct daily operational meetings/briefings.
- Resolve conflict/provide solutions by exercising high levels of influencing, negotiation and communication skills.
- Create a positive working environment.
- Ensure compliance with EU driver regulations and maintain legal/compliance across health and safety, food safety, and security.
- Plan and arrange vehicle maintenance/repair of defects as required to ensure fleet availability.
- Point of contact between the unit and the airside operation.
- Contribute and manage within defined systems of working to ensure quality of product, service to the customer and team progression/development.
- Follow company, process and section procedures.
- Instigate and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deputise for Duty Manager when required.
- Monitor flight information screens and local email account during the shift and respond to events.
- Conduct DfT checking as required (vehicles, food bags equipment).
- Ability to cover a 7-day operation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role leading teams.
- Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered).
- Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph card.
- Previous HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act.
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential.
- Must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn.
