Reporting to the Section Manager, you'll take the reins of our Make and Pack shift/team, driving performance, hitting targets, and helping us deliver world-class results. What you’ll be leading in Make & Pack:
- Packing food liners to exact specification
- Creating precise sample and product builds across all classes
- Running temperature, quality, and product date checks
- Sealing flight canisters and trolleys, recording numbers accurately
- Marshalling flights to Dispatch bays in the correct stowing order
Your mission as Team Leader:
- Drive your team to hit objectives, budgets, and specs — efficiently and effectively
- Build a positive, energised working environment
- Resolve conflict, find solutions, and take corrective action when needed
- Monitor and support team performance on shift
- Represent your team at operational meetings
- Coach, communicate, and develop your people so they perform at their best
- Own HACCP and legal compliance — health & safety, food safety, security, and gateOPEX
- Keep quality and service standards on point through smart systems and process management
What you bring:
- Education: Degree-level ideal, but not essential — we care more about what you can do!
- Experience: You've led a team in a fast-paced environment; Shift/staff management experience — food manufacturing sector a big plus; At least 2 years of relevant operational experience
- Skills: Food hygiene, security, and H&S know-how preferred; Aviation security awareness a bonus; Sharp eye for detail and accuracy; Solid IT skills — MS Office; advanced Excel is a real plus; Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts
