Job Summary

  • Reporting into the Process Owner Planning and Supply Chain
  • Overall responsibility to optimize use of material / material Av T and take collaborative actions where needed.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and controls material cost using Av T (actual versus theoretical) /Pv T (purchase versus theoretical).
  • Reports material related KPI’s in correlation with Finance and investigates discrepancies and initiates corrective actions.
  • Responsible for MIB (material info board) meetings and running all required reports.
  • Coordinates/instigates/participates in make or buy process.
  • Manages the interface with key stakeholders (menu development / procurement / commercial /unit / IT / etc.) for issue resolution.
  • Leads the menu cycle change including the menu spec review meetings.
  • Assist/conduct MMAT audits for the Unit
  • Supports and manages any additional internal or external material related initiatives.
  • Ensures SOP’s and best practices are followed (e. g.: gate OPEX) and contributes to continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
  • Material forecast planning using production planning tool in GG ERP
  • Review stock of in-house products and adjust Central recipe assembly figures for the kitchen
  • Leads and drives continuous improvement initiative relating to advance production techniques
  • Responsible to provide data for and to facilitate Material meetings and its related KPI’s
  • Adheres to legal/ HACCP compliance across health and safety, food safety, security, and gate OPEX (in-house operational excellence program) and reports all incidents/accidents.

Qualifications

Education

  • University Graduate - preferred
  • High School graduate or equivalent

Work Experience

  • Previous purchasing experience is essential

At least a total of 3 years’ work experience in the airline catering business, preferably in areas related to data management, operational planning, information systems, operational KPIs.

Technical Skills
