The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 € per year.
As a checker you will be responsible for checking prepared meals for all classes ensuring that the meals are to specification and comply with menu cards. You will also ensure you have checked any requests for special meals or last-minute requests (additional meals, aircraft changes, return catering, etc.) and the correct numbers are ready for uplift. You will be responsible to complete all security checking procedures in line with DFT requirements and highlight any delays through daily written reports.

You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, good attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays), willingness to stand for a prolonged period of time and the ability to work in a cold environment where all thermal clothing will be provided. Full training will be provided to successful applicants. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Prior to offer of contract, you will be required to undergo a CRC (Criminal Record Check) and a five-year history verification, including periods of unemployment. For anytime spent outside the UK exceeding 6 months, you must be able to provide a CRC (Criminal Record Check) for that country.
Work Experience:
- Extensive experience in a similar role, Previous experience in the food industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of Basic Hygiene.
- Ideally some experience in a production/manufacturing/stores environment.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
Other Skills:
- Good English and numeracy skills.
- Attention to detail and able to work in a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
