Job Overview:
- Regular roster of 4 on 4 off shift, availability for 5am - 5pm / 6am - 6pm / 7am - 7pm / 8am - 8pm (Full Flexibility Required)
- Overtime rate of 1.5

£16.66 per hour Overtime @ 1.5 times the hourly rate
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving HGV 15 – 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment
- Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use
- Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft
- Liaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliers
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle
- Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By-laws
- Additional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork
- Plus any additional warehouse duties
Requirements of the HGV Driver:
- Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered)
- Previous HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential
- You must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, undertake a CRC (Criminal Record Check) and provide 5 years of checkable referencing history
- For anytime spent outside the UK exceeding 6 months, you must be able to provide a CRC (Criminal Record Check) for that country
