Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing Gate Group strategy for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) processes and programs.
- Responsible for driving the development and maintenance of compliance programs in line with UK&I regulations/standards and in support of operational and commercial goals.
- Leads and directs the development and implementation of capability building tools focused on regulatory compliance.
- Consults with senior management to develop organizational goals and measurements.
- Partners with senior, operational and support management on all key decisions related to EHS.
- Leads and coordinates the UK&I unit’s risk management activities, which includes risk assessments, control measures and corrective action plans.
- Supports the development and delivery of training and communication materials.
- Support with (insurance) claim handling which covers root cause analysis, investigation, report development, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supports with managing and maintaining UK&I compliance data.
- Responsible for monitoring compliance key performance indicators and developing improvement plans to help the operating units achieve targets.
- Drives execution of both strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Drives implementation of overall Corporate/Global Operations Compliance group objectives.
- Develops indirect reporting staffs and secures succession planning.
- Continuously seeks areas of improvements or opportunities for risk mitigation, develops solution proposals, and direct corrective actions as deemed necessary.
- Spearhead group ESG objectives for the Environment & Social pillars across UK&I Operations.
- Lead environmental sustainability projects and carbon footprint reduction initiatives.
- Partners closely with Operational Excellence experts to drive continuous improvements in related areas of responsibilities.
