The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

Reporting into the Shift Leader, looking after Goods Receiving, storing, picking & packing and distributing goods internally to achieve short- and long-term goals and KPI’s.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with Warehouse to ensure stock levels are constantly monitored in line with Days on Hand data, minimum/maximum stock levels are adhered to, and targets and applicable business KPI’s are met.
  • Reviews material waste and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly.
  • Reviews deadstock and adjusts stock levels proactively and accordingly.
  • Responsible for keeping all ordering activities in line with unit finance regulations and audit criteria.
  • Communicates with internal & external customers on irregularities and ensures GG Suppliers are performing to high standards with the support of Procurement.

Qualifications:

Education: GCSE level or equivalent/High School Diploma or GED required. Certification in food safety and/or sanitation preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • A forklift truck license and/or license to drive assisted lift equipment is preferable.
  • Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling and aviation security.
  • Must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with warehousing, production etc.
  • Previous experience in materials management and control supporting Make & Pack / Pick & Pack / Wash & Pack, managing inventories and interfacing with various functional areas.

Other Skills:

  • Positive attitude to work.
  • Able to work with heavy loads / pushing and pulling.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Computer Skills preferred.
