About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Senior Warehouse Operatives (Flow Coordinators) to join our team at Glasgow Airport.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the Flow Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their designated area.

You will take ownership of daily activities, support and guide team members, and help deliver operational objectives while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, quality, and customer service.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience leading small teams within a warehouse, food production, manufacturing, logistics, or aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate activities within your designated operational area to ensure productivity, quality, and service targets are achieved.
  • Support, coach, and develop General Assistants to meet departmental and company standards.
  • Assist in creating a positive, engaged, and high-performing team environment.
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct staff briefings and provide operational updates and guidance.
  • Resolve day-to-day operational issues and support effective decision-making on the production floor.
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, Department for Transport (Df T), security, and company operational standards.
  • Support the implementation of gate OPEX and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Carry out quality, quantity, and security checks to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Support airline catering operations, including packing, assembly, equipment handling, and product staging where required.
  • Prioritise workloads and direct team members to ensure flights are completed accurately and on time.
  • Act as a Df T Checker where trained and required.
  • Deputise for the Team Leader during periods of absence.
  • Work flexibly across departments and operational areas as required by the business.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year's experience within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Previous experience supervising or coordinating small teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and support colleagues.
  • Demonstrable ability to take ownership and accountability.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.

Desirable Experience

  • Food production, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, hospitality, or aviation experience.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Security requirements.
  • Previous airline catering experience.

Qualifications

  • A-Levels or equivalent qualification, and/or relevant operational experience.
  • Additional Information
  • As this role operates within a secure airport environment, all successful applicants must:
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC).
  • Provide five years of verifiable employment, education, or activity history.
  • Provide overseas criminal record documentation where required for periods spent outside the UK exceeding six months.
