Be the bridge between business ambition and technology delivery. We're looking for a Regional IT Business Engagement Manager who gets energy from connecting the dots – between what the business needs and what IT can deliver. This isn't a role stuck in technical specs or endless meetings. You'll be the trusted partner who translates business priorities into technology solutions that actually work.
What you'll be doing:
- You're the link between business leaders and IT across the European region. Your job is to make sure technology enables the business to hit its goals, not hold it back.
- You'll partner with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape IT roadmaps, and guide investment decisions.
- You'll manage demand, build business cases, oversee budgets, and ensure the rollout of regional and local IT solutions that align with global standards but actually fit how we operate on the ground.
- When business functions need technology solutions, you're the person who figures out what's needed, what's feasible, and how to make it happen.
- You'll work with architecture, operations, and vendor teams to deliver projects that are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business strategy.
- You'll also be the escalation point when things go wrong – stepping in to resolve issues, communicate clearly during incidents, and make sure stakeholders are never left in the dark.
Day-to-day, you'll:
- Deploy IT roadmaps and oversee technology rollouts across business units.
- Support business leaders in developing IT demands that can be costed, prioritised, and delivered.
- Manage IT budgets and investment planning with regional and country leadership.
- Analyse business requirements and recommend the right technology solutions.
- Act as the key liaison between IT and business functions across all domains.
- Coordinate with vendors and IT partners to ensure service quality and value.
- Align business expectations with IT service levels and negotiate SLAs that balance cost and value.
- Monitor and report on IT performance, project progress, and risks.
- Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to leverage technology for operational excellence.
What we're looking for:
- 7+ years in IT business relationship management, project management, or business analysis – ideally in a regional or multinational environment.
- Proven ability to align IT initiatives with business priorities and deliver measurable results.
- Experience in IT demand management, budgeting, and investment planning.
- Strong background in IT service delivery, governance, and stakeholder management.
- Comfortable working in matrix organisations and coordinating across global and regional teams.
- Solid understanding of IT governance, ITIL, and project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of business process analysis, portfolio management, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (ERP), data analytics, and integration technologies.
- Experience building business cases and ROI analyses for IT investments.
- Hands-on with ITSM and project tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or MS Project.
- Excellent communicator who can present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Fluent in English (additional languages a bonus).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's/MBA in Technology Management or Business Strategy is a plus.
- ITIL, PMP, or Prince2 certifications desirable.
What's in it for you:
- Real influence: You'll shape how technology supports business growth across the European region.
- Strategic exposure: Direct partnership with senior business leaders and involvement in investment decisions.
- Variety: Every day is different – from vendor negotiations to solution design to incident management.
- Flexibility: Work from any UK location aligned to a major business unit, with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
- Career growth: Be part of a global organisation with opportunities to expand your scope and impact.
- Autonomy: You'll have the trust and freedom to make decisions, challenge the status quo, and drive change.
Who you are:
You're strategic but pragmatic. You understand business goals and know how to align IT to deliver them. You build strong relationships, take ownership, and communicate with clarity. You're analytical, adaptable, and comfortable negotiating between business needs, budgets, and technical feasibility. Most importantly, you're customer-focused – you know IT exists to add value, not create barriers.
