You will be managing the day-to-day operations, leading your team of 3 through their shifts, and ensuring we deliver what our customers need, when they need it. This includes daily briefings, performance monitoring, sorting issues before they escalate, and being the go-to person between the unit and airside operations. You will be juggling compliance (health and safety, food safety, security), tracking KPIs, attending operational meetings, and stepping in for the Unit Manager when needed. Essentially, you are the person who ensures everything that should happen, actually happens during your shift.

What’s in it for you:

  • 5 on, 3 off shift pattern (07:00-16:00 base hours) – proper time off to actually have a life
  • Competitive salary of £16.94 per hour with room to grow
  • Free parking
  • Company sick pay and pension scheme
  • Paid holidays with regular shift patterns
  • In-house training to develop your skills

  • Refer a friend bonuses
  • Discount platform for everyday shopping
  • Cycle to work scheme

What we’re after:

We are looking for someone with solid experience leading teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. A background in food, logistics, production, or manufacturing would be ideal, but what really matters is that you have the backbone to take accountability and the ability to solve problems independently. You will need A-levels (or equivalent work experience), a working knowledge of basic hygiene, and the ability to build relationships with various people. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and you should be able to stay calm when things get hectic and prioritise effectively.

The reality check:

This is a 7-day operation, so flexibility is important. You will rotate through different departments as needed, manage diverse teams, and be expected to maintain standards across health and safety, food safety, and security. If you want a role where you are genuinely trusted to lead, where your decisions matter, and where you will see the impact of your work every single day, this could be the one.

Interested? Get in touch. Start date is March 2026.
