We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to take ownership of shift operations, lead a capable team, and uphold the standards that keep our warehouse running at its best. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who brings both operational know-how and the people skills to get the best from those around them.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, develop and performance-manage your shift team, fostering an inclusive environment where individuals are engaged and empowered to contribute fully.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety, food safety, HACCP, and site security requirements throughout your shift, escalating where appropriate.
- Deliver against agreed operational objectives, budgets, and quality standards, providing accurate and timely reporting to support the wider management team.
- Actively support and sustain continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to our in-house operational excellence programme (OPEX).
- Resolve conflicts promptly and constructively, communicate effectively across the team, and represent operational interests in relevant meetings.
- Maintain adherence to defined information systems and working procedures to ensure consistent quality of product and service for our customers.
About you
You will have proven experience leading a team within a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements and a structured approach to operations. Experience within a bonded or food-grade warehouse would be an advantage.
