Gate One is a business and digital transformation consultancy working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with clients to design and deliver some of the world’s most complex and meaningful change programmes. As a premium challenger consultancy – entrepreneurial, creative and values‑driven - and part of the Havas network, we combine strategic clarity, transformation expertise and creative capability to help organisations deliver lasting impact.

Our work spans operating model design, digital and technology transformation, people‑centred change, customer and employee experience, strategy and leadership, enterprise agility, and AI‑enabled transformation. We blend creativity with rigour, empowering clients to become more future‑fit, connected and capable.

As our consulting team continues to grow, we are seeking high‑calibre Senior Consultants with experience across transformation, digital, or change to deliver impactful client work and help strengthen our internal capabilities. Right now we have specific interest in experienced consultants who have supported clients within the retail, consumer or pharma sector(s).

The opportunity: Senior Consultants play a pivotal role at Gate One: shaping and driving workstreams, building trusted client relationships, and applying strong consulting craft to deliver high‑quality transformation outcomes. You will take intellectual ownership of discrete areas of complex programmes, working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to deliver clarity, pace and meaningful results.

You will also have opportunities to contribute to business development, shape propositions, grow sector or capability communities, and support the cultural life of the firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced consulting environment and wants to broaden their exposure across a wide variety of transformation engagements.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead and contribute to high‑value delivery
  • Lead discrete workstreams within broader programmes, shaping analysis, designing solutions and producing high‑quality deliverables.
  • Build trusted client relationships, contributing insight, structure and problem‑solving to help clients navigate complexity.
  • Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal and client teams.
  • Support business development and account growth
  • Contribute to business development through early relationship‑building, supporting BD meetings, shaping propositions and developing credentials.
  • Play an active role in bids and proposals, supporting senior colleagues in converting opportunities.
  • Help build Gate One
  • Contribute to capability and sector communities, internal initiatives, thought leadership and knowledge sharing.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a culture of high performance and development.
  • Role‑model Gate One’s values - empathy, candour, humility, grit, entrepreneurship and aspiration - in all interactions.

About You: You must have around 4-6 years’ experience gained within management consulting firms. This is a mandatory requirement for the role. We are not able to consider candidates whose experience sits solely within industry roles.

You will also bring:

  • Experience leading workstreams with autonomy — shaping content, structuring analysis, managing stakeholders and co‑creating solutions.
  • An emerging specialism in one or more areas (e.g., change and transformation, digital & technology, operating model, people/change/culture) with the appetite to broaden your capability.
  • Experience of supporting clients in the retail, consumer or pharma sector(s).
  • Experience coaching or overseeing junior colleagues or client team members.
  • Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Curiosity, versatility and a proactive approach to learning and contributing to firm‑wide initiatives.
  • Interest in contributing to business development, whether through supporting BD conversations, developing propositions or contributing to bids.

Inclusion & accessibility: Gate One is committed to an inclusive hiring process. All applications will be given fair consideration regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, age, faith, or social background. We welcome individuals from all educational backgrounds to apply. We encourage applications from underrepresented and minority groups and can provide reasonable adjustments where needed to ensure a fair and accessible process.

Our goal is to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that values the unique perspectives and contributions of each team member. If you require any support or have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to one of our Talent team.

Candidates must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK and meet the level of experience outlined above to be considered for this role.
