The opportunity
As a Manager at Gate One, you will lead high‑value digital transformation engagements, taking responsibility for delivery, team leadership and client outcomes. You will work across a broad range of transformation initiatives — for example digital strategy, technology transformation, product and agile delivery, data and AI, or operating model design — ensuring that change is delivered in a practical, integrated and outcome‑focused way. You will operate as a senior day‑to‑day leader on engagements, shaping work, guiding clients through complexity, and supporting teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes. Alongside client delivery, you will contribute to account growth, support business development activity, and play an active role in building the capability and culture of the firm.
Specifically, you will:

- Scope, lead and deliver end‑to‑end digital transformation programmes, taking accountability for outcomes, quality and team performance.
- Work across multiple transformation areas such as digital strategy, technology delivery, data and AI, product and agile, and operating model change.
- Bring structure and clarity to complex problems, helping clients move from strategy through to delivery and adoption.
- Lead blended Gate One and client teams, creating momentum and delivery excellence while supporting others to perform at their best.
Grow accounts and contribute to business development
- Support the growth of client accounts through delivery‑led business development and relationship building.
- Lead or contribute to key workstreams within bids and proposals, shaping clear and compelling transformation approaches.
- Identify opportunities to extend and deepen transformation work within existing client relationships.
Build the business and develop others
- Coach, mentor and develop consultants within project teams, supporting performance, progression and wellbeing.
- Contribute to capability development across Digital & Technology, including propositions, thought leadership or internal initiatives.
- Play an active role in recruitment and firm‑wide activities, role‑modelling Gate One’s values and leadership behaviours.
About You
You must have experience gained within management consulting firms (6-10 years’), with a demonstrable track record of delivering digital transformation work. You will also bring:
- Experience delivering digital or technology‑enabled transformation, which may include areas such as digital strategy, product and agile delivery, data and AI, or operating model change.
- The ability to operate across the lifecycle of transformation — from shaping strategy through to supporting implementation and adoption.
- Exposure to technology or enterprise architecture concepts, with the ability to engage in conversations around architecture, platforms, or system design as part of broader transformation programmes.
- Experience leading and developing teams of consultants, including managing client resources.
- Exposure to business development activity, such as supporting or contributing to client meetings, proposals and bids.
